Career at Catholic Theological Union

Stuhlmueller taught for one year at the Passionist theologate when it moved to St. Meinrad’s in Indiana, but then returned to the Pontifical Biblical Institute to begin work on his doctorate. He completed his doctorate in 1968, and began teaching at the newly founded Catholic Theological Union that fall.
